Preformance
Gwen Stefani's Performance is always highly theatrical in accordance to the typical style of pop, gwen was one of the first pop singers after annie Lenox to bring a totally different style to the eye of the audience, which in turn brought the audience back for more every time.
Gwen always has her own style of dance and doesn't follow other artists or the typical pop convention of synchronised dance, although she is categorised into pop culture music, Gwen tends to do what she feels in the moment which the audience love especially on live performances.
Symbolisim
Gwen Stefani doesn't focus on one feature in relation to symbolism, but the thing that the audience likes to notice is the fact her makeup and hair always stay the same.
through the use of makeup and hair gwen us symbolising to be plastic, almost to be barbie, which is a child's toy, this could either be symbolising that gwen has innocence or on the other hand she could be sexualising something that is deemed to be a toy.

Shot List For First Time
1. (Interior) - Tears Carlio is introduced through a close up/ point of view shot sitting in the driver seat of a car. He is Breaking Up With Ms Sarra. Hand held camera as if the audience is looking through Ms sarra's eyes.
2. (Interior) - Tears Carlio is sitting on his bed accompanied by Ms Sarra. A Medium two shot is used, The Camera is Handheld and it is at a high angle.
3. (Exterior) - A car door handle is shown through a medium close up and continues to stay on the screen as the camera zooms in stages to an extreme close up. Hand held camera.
4. (Exterior) - A Hand appears to open the car door, when opened the side of a body and left leg reaching the floor is shown before exiting the vehicle.

Star Analysis Part 4- motifs
Gwen Stefani has many motifs one of which is her erratic style, her clothing for one which differentiates her from most other singers. she has had bleach blonde hair since day one, this is one aspect that her audience have now become accustomed to and has then made it a motif.
Along with the red lipstick she wears that you rarely see her without. These pictures show you the constant repetitive motifs.
The main repetitive Motif is the Four Japanese girls called Love Angel Music And Baby as a group they are called Harajuku girls. they are the motif because they in every music video either visually or verbally such as when gwen sings "love angel music baby hurry up and come and save me" while they dance behind her.

The narrative of these lyric is about a girl who is essentially talking about the emotions of a teenage girl who is stuck in a love triangle. She and the male antagonist are basically showing both of there feelings, she adores him but he doesn’t want it any more “…I adore you, something in them eyes that makes me want you” his reply later on is “ I don’t know if I could make you my lady coz” basically saying they both have mixed emotions. The lyrics help to construct the mood explaining exactly what is going on in her life.
The represent Miss Sarra to be a young woman that can clearly relate to her audience and the audience can relate to her, especially through the emotions of the lyrics. Through the use of her music she hopes to help people of all ages to get through difficult situations and help mend peoples broken hearts.
